We are one of
the few polish bands that try to popularize funk,
soul and r&b music here in Poland. People
listen mostly to rock music or disco polo (polish
version of italo disco). Only high-school, more
open-minded communities are sensitive to other
music styles, like jazz, classical, or one of the
many styles that are so popular in Western Europe
and America. But even if Polish people know funk,
salsa, reggae, tango and swing, they don't
consider them as danceable music. And they mostly
wouldn't even know how to move to it. We believe that it doesn't
have to be this way.
We want black music to be more popular and we
want to show the people, that there is music that
is more interesting, easy to listen and great to
dance.
